The town of Allagash is a small quiet town located by the Allagash and St. John’s rivers. Allagash is nestled in the boarder of Wildlife Management 1 and 2 with local access to the North Maine Woods. Whether you are hunting, fishing, canoeing, or just enjoying the scenery Allagash is the premiere vacation spot everyone needs to experience once in their lives. Maine Sporting Camps is owned and operated by Thomas Rice . I came to the Allagash area a few years ago on a moose hunt and fell in love with the area. Since then I wanted other fellow hunters to come and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the great moose hunting as I did. I have 40 years of hunting experiences that span 3 continents. I learned to hunt, fish and trap from my father. Maine Sporting Camps will strive to make your hunting experience at our lodge located in Allagash a successful and memorable one.

Driving Directions
From Bangor take I-95 North to exit 286 turn left on route 212. Go 10 miles until it ends. Turn right on route 11 and head to Fort Kent. At the light in Fort Kent make a left on route 161. Go approximately 32 miles and the camp is located next to the Baptist church on the left.
